Despite entering their first-ever European campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Missing star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a commanding result that all but secures them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their next match against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure straight entry to the last 16, especially following a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Opportunity
This match offered a platform for some of Palace's fringe talent to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the account with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in succession.

The contest was effectively over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of weak challenges before calmly dispatching a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
After the break, manager Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, indicating there is still room for development in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise positive night for the traveling side.
