Loyal followers of Ariana Grande are demanding that a individual who jumped a fence and seized the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared clip shows the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being detained", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to appear on the following morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Well-being

Several supporters criticized Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said another comment on Instagram.

Some supporters also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while others demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore shopping center, including some who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a dual version of the popular theatrical production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely friendship between two contrasting characters.

The production itself is a spin-off of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and scored ten award recognitions, earning several for outstanding attire and production design.
