Manchester United Set to Secure German Striker Lea Schüller away from the Bavarian Giants
The Women's Super League club are finalising sealing the deal for prolific Germany forward Lea Schüller on a permanent transfer away from Bayern Munich.

The forward, with six months left on her contract, has been a prolific goalscorer for both club and country. She has netted over 100 goals for the German giants and found the net 54 times in 82 caps for Germany. This signing will be seen as a major coup for the WSL team.
Her exit from Munich has been anticipated since she was seen fighting back tears while thanking the club's supporters following a win over Bayer Leverkusen this month.
It was reported in late December that the German women's top flight was losing one of its top forwards. According to multiple sources, the formalities for the transfer are now finalised.
Consistent Goalscoring to Strengthen United's Forward Line
The 28-year-old’s signing should represent a significant uplift to the team's forward line. She has been highly consistent in front of goal in Germany’s top flight.
- Over seven straight seasons, including the most recent campaign, she achieved at least a double-figures tally of league goals.
- She claimed the Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season with a haul of 16 goals.

The acquisition of Schüller’s signature comes at a time when the club seem to be gathering momentum.
