The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement within the fandom. From the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions before the title's launch, to players forming firm opinions on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one thought naturally: How can connect this with astrology? This list is inspired by a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is strongly reflected throughout this creature's whole lineage, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about others.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it became sentient through pure resentment and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol
