Tragic Bus Accident in Northeastern Brazil Results in the Lives of 15 People

Initial reports suggest that the bus operator lost control of the vehicle, crossing into the opposite lane and hitting rocks on the shoulder. After that, the driver returned to the proper lane but then collided with a sandbank, which led the vehicle to overturn.
The cause behind the accident is currently under investigation. The operator sustained minor injuries and was found negative for alcohol.
