Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted a visit to meet with Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk area on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he consulted fighters at the operational headquarters of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, a town approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.

Critical Conditions in the Region

Recent mapping from a local initiative indicated that Russian forces had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and its environs, though a large portion remained beyond firm control by any party. The situation remains critical, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were digging in and strengthening posts in certain areas.

Russian forces are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and seem to be functioning with enhanced confidence within Pokrovsk itself.

Analysts observed that national troops had recaptured substantial territory of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya area, on the east side of the Pokrovsk campaign.

National Drone Strikes Inside Russia
